STUDENT ENRICHMENT

MODEL UNITED NATIONS

At Links School, our Model United Nations (MUN) program is a testament to our commitment to leadership development and global awareness. Our students have achieved remarkable success in MUN competitions, consistently demonstrating their exceptional skills and dedication on prestigious stages around the world.

Our MUN teams have not only participated but have also triumphed in numerous competitions, including those held at renowned institutions such as Yale and Harvard. These achievements are a result of the relentless hard work and preparation of our students, who engage in rigorous research, debate, and negotiation to excel in these international forums.

The success of our MUN program is also a reflection of the strong support and involvement of our parents. Their encouragement and active participation play a vital role in nurturing the talents and aspirations of our students, ensuring they are well-prepared to represent Links School with distinction.

At Links School, we believe that MUN is more than just a competition; it is an invaluable educational experience that equips our students with critical thinking, public speaking, and diplomacy skills. Through MUN, our students gain a deeper understanding of global issues, develop empathy, and learn the importance of collaboration and consensus-building.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

At Links, we believe in instilling a sense of social responsibility in our students from a young age. Through our comprehensive curriculum, we integrate community service as an essential component of learning.

Our Primary and Secondary school students actively engage in various community service activities, such as hosting bake sales, fundraising during events like ‘read-for-a-cause,’ kindness week, and carnivals. These initiatives not only raise awareness but also provide tangible support to charitable causes.

Additionally, community service is a mandatory part of our curriculum for students in Classes 9 through 11. By participating in voluntary activities and short work-based internships, students not only contribute positively to society but also gain valuable skills and experiences that set them apart in their academic and professional journeys.

We believe that these experiences not only benefit the communities we serve but also help our students develop essential life skills and become compassionate global citizens. This holistic approach to education ensures that our students are well-prepared for future challenges and opportunities, both academically and personally.
